Abstract neuron
I created this graphic with Adobe Photoshop, beginning with a blank image canvas and applying a variety of filter, color, and level adjustments. The original graphic is 500x500 pixels at 300 px/in. I used this graphic in my Identity Package.

Demotivational wallpaper
This is desktop wallpaper that I created to fuel the football rivalry between Virginia Tech and the University of Virginia. The original screen shot is from Fresno State’s overtime victory over Virginia in the 2004 MPC Computers Bowl. I cut the screen shot and added text in Adobe Photoshop.

vtONE image splash
I used a generic photograph from Tech’s University Relations web site to create this image splash for www.vt-one.com. I cut the original photograph into several pieces and added layer masks, color. I also used this graphic as the cover for vtONE three-ring binders (e.g., the Communication Team binders).

Evangelism
A black and white version of a photograph I took in during a mission trip in San Salvador, El Salvador. My roommate Peter is looking out our hotel window on Day One. If you look closely you may see the sign for “Mister Donuts,” the Salvadorian Krispy Kreme.

Faith
This is a simple shot I took behind Tech’s main campus. The title “Faith” is inspired from the composition of the fence around the wild grass.

Man-o-war
Check out this Portuguese Man-o-war from Miami Beach, Florida on December 31, 2003. Miami Beach was littered with these colorful things.

Mary and the Navy
This statue of Virgin Mary and Baby Jesus stands in front of a Navy port in La Union, El Salvador. La Union was chaotic region during Salvador’s twelve-year civil war because of this port’s access to the Pacific.

Miami Heat
I took this shot near Miami International Airport. I admit to tweaking the image’s contrast, but I did not change it's color tones: the sky was really on fire.

Salvadorian Navy
This is just a simple, black and white shot from a Salvadorian military battleship in a port near La Union, El Salvador. This port is being developed by the Japanese for future trading. Check out the old-fashion machine gun turrets.

Here’s a macro shot of a blooming flower: my amateurish attempt to turn something everyday into something unique.
